WIN Technology employees have donated to United Way through payroll deductions and other methods for many years. However, in 2021, WIN Technology employees were challenged and incentivized to increase their participation and the result: 60 percent increase! So, how did they do it? With compelling incentives, friendly competition, fun events and increased promotion. Departments with the largest donation increases received team prizes: the first place prize was dinner with our CEO, and second place team winners received movie gift cards. In addition, all employees who contributed to the United Way were entered into a drawing for a Yeti cooler.
According to Kevin Dendinger, Human Resources Manager, “These efforts not only increased our contribution to a great cause, but also created some fun competition and team building within our organization.”
