How Fortinet’s TradeUp Program Reduced a Six-Figure Renewal

When WIN learned of this renewal estimate, we began working with our partner Fortinet to explore more cost-effective options.

Through these discussions, Fortinet suggested that the customer could be a good fit for Fortinet’s TradeUp program.

Reducing Renewal Costs with Fortinet TradeUp

The TradeUp program offers end users a cost-effective way to upgrade their existing Fortinet solutions with those of the latest features and performance benefits. It is designed to help customers protect their cybersecurity investments while managing costs.

For this customer, the TradeUp program made it possible to upgrade to a newer generation of FortiGate firewalls with similar performance, at a more manageable price point.

The customer renewed their switches as originally planned and upgraded their firewalls through the program, purchasing an additional five more years of support in the process.

Ongoing Support Through the Migration

Although the customer chose to handle the migration internally, WIN remained involved to ensure everything went smoothly. When the migration was delayed, we worked with Fortinet to extend the customer’s existing support for a few extra days, giving them the time and flexibility they needed.

A Positive Outcome

The customer was pleased with the outcome and the collaborative approach. In an email following the migration, they wrote:
