A Seamless Integration: Traditional Telecom Meets Cloud Services   

A local health plan provider needed a solution that combined traditional telecom services with cloud services. As a key player in supporting communities across Wisconsin, the organization needed a reliable and redundant network connection between office locations, as well as secure and redundant access to the cloud.  

The Challenge  

The provider’s existing network was susceptible to disruptions. A single point of failure in their cloud connection could put their ability to deliver essential services to the community at risk. They needed a redundant network solution that would ensure continuous cloud connectivity and safeguard against unexpected outages.  

Our Solution 

Once we understood the client’s need, our team of network engineers designed a custom solution that included cloud services, two redundant cloud connections and an Ethernet Local Area Network (E-LAN). 

We began by providing the client with a cloud service that met their needs. To ensure against potential cloud connectivity failures, we installed a second network circuit and device. This provided the client with a backup circuit so that if their primary circuit ever failed, the backup would immediately take over and ensure uninterrupted access to their cloud service.  

To connect the client’s two office locations and data centers, our engineers implemented an E-LAN solution. This solution provided all four sites—plus the client’s cloud service—with connectivity within a cohesive network. By utilizing E-LAN technology, we ensured efficient traffic management, enhanced security, and improved overall network performance.
